Anichess Puzzles are back, faster and sharper, now live on [anichesspuzzles.com](https://anichesspuzzles.com) and inside the [Base App](https://www.base.org/apps). Built mobile-first, it’s a sleek way to train your brain with a drop of magic.

## What are Anichess Puzzles

Each puzzle starts mid-game with a clear goal: win material, survive, or deliver mate. You’ll need classic chess tactics plus Anichess spells. Your performance is scored on speed, accuracy, and hint usage.

## Modes

Tutorial Mode is your intro. It’s free and gives you 15 guided puzzles that show how spells work.

Daily Puzzle drops two fresh puzzles every 24 hours—one free, one premium for $0.69 USDC.

Universe Mode is for long-term progress. Spend 1 energy to unlock any puzzle forever. Solve it once to earn up to 3 stars based on how well you play. Stars are permanent points.

Rush Mode is live and fast. You get 3 minutes to solve as many puzzles as you can. Three mistakes and you’re out. Rankings reset every 3 minutes.

### Energy

Energy regenerates over time: 1 per hour, up to a max of 5. Tutorial Mode is free. Daily Basic, Universe, and Rush each cost 1 energy per run. You can also buy extra energy using USDC.

### Refferals

Use your invite code from the Base App to bring in friends.

Free users earn you +3 energy.

Premium users give +50 points, +1 max energy, and 10% of their score.
