# Ethernals the PFP collection

### Mind Over Meta

Anichess Ethernals are the genesis collection and the gateway to the Anichess ecosystem. Minted for free by the most loyal early players, the 960-piece set lives permanently on Ethereum.

Only 24 are Legendary and 105 are Rare. Each tier is tied to one of six mystical tribes of Mystra.

Ethernals serve as onchain proof of presence and progression. Holding one unlocks exclusive in-game skins, early feature access, and evolving utility across Anichess and the wider Checkmate Ecosystem.

Every Ethernal also carries access to a share of 10% of the total $CHECK supply. $CHECK can be claimed monthly.
