The world of Mystra was on the brink of annihilation. A planet blessed with balance, undone by its most powerful species. War, technology, and greed tore it apart, until the Divinities stepped in.

From The Void, they delivered a new path: Chess.

But not just any chess. Aether-infused, spell-charged, and deeply strategic. Anichess was born — a new system of decision-making that replaced violence with intellect, chaos with tactics, and brute force with foresight.

Chess became law. And Mystra became the proving ground.
