What's New & Improvements

Draw/Resign Restriction

• Players can no longer offer a draw or resign during the first 2 minutes of the game. If attempted, an error message will be displayed. This change is designed to prevent premature game-ending decisions and encourage longer, more strategic gameplay.

Skins and Customization

• A new Standard Chess Skin has been added and set as the default appearance. This skin brings a classic chessboard aesthetic, offering a more traditional visual experience for players.

Rank match search optimized

• The Rank Match system has been improved to allow players to search for opponents within a specific ELO radius. This adjustment ensures more balanced matches and reduces wait times for finding opponents.

Spell Improvements

Shot in the Dark

• Mana cost reduced: 5 → 3. Casts increased: 2 → 3 This buff allows for more frequent use of the Shot in the Dark spell, enhancing its utility during games.

Bis-hop

• Mana cost reduced: 6 → 4. Casts increased: 2 → 3 Bis-hop’s adjustments make it a more accessible and reliable tool for players in the heat of battle.

Tactical Necessity

• Mana cost reduced: 3 → 1. Casts increased: 2 → 3. The Tactical Necessity spell is now more cost-effective, allowing players to make strategic adjustments more freely during mid-game.
